One of my favorite things about Todd's music is the way it evokes such a wide palate of colors and with them, emotions. In his music, as in life, these can often change rapidly and unexpectedly. Performers and listeners alike are empowered to hear, feel, and discover something unique each time they get to experience one of his pieces. A Goodman performance cultivates the best type of anticipation.

Working with Todd Goodman has been truly rewarding. My trio, Eastern Standard, asked Todd to write a piece for us. The piece he produced, WANDERLUST is one of the most well-crafted works in our repertoire. His music is tuneful and unique. It is both profound and accessible, and is as enjoyable for the audience to hear as it is for the performer to play.
I am excited to be a part of bringing Todd’s VICTORIAM to life. He has proven to consistently produce meaningful music, and I am sure this new concerto will be an important addition to the repertoire.
